1. Confidentiality:
The Investigator agrees to keep all information provided by the Client strictly confidential and use it solely for the purpose of carrying out the agreed investigative services, except where disclosure is required by law.
2. Legal compliance:
The Investigator shall conduct all investigations within the laws of England and Wales (or relevant jurisdiction). The Client confirms that their instructions are lawful and that they have a legitimate interest in requesting the investigation.
3. Reports and Evidence:
The Investigator will provide the Client with written reports, photographic or video evidence (if obtained lawfully) and updates as agreed.
4. Limitation of liability:
The Investigator does not guarantee the outcome of the investigation. The Investigator shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or unforeseen losses arising from the investigation.
5. Termination:
Either party may terminate a signed Agreement in writing. The Client remains liable for all fees and expenses incurred up to the date of termination.
6. Data provided to us:
Any information provided to us electronically via email or our website contact form is stored in an encrypted database and subject to GDPR.
